My Grattitude is infinite to you guys. It'll be a way to
The other two experiences were just a waste of time punctuated by attitude from the doctors on staff. It is now staffed by doctors that don't think to highly of women. I will go elsewhere from now on.
BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's a worst hospital that I have ever been with unnecessary tests being done by doctors in ER to extract money from Insurance companies and patients. I went for an ER one day and had to go for outpatient surgery as recommended by doctor. they did blood transfusion. Then next day I had to go to ER to due to pain in chest. ER doctor did all sorts test CT Scan, Xray etc. Even if doctor concluded that it was due to blood transfusion being given fast he still asked to go for EKG (just in case). At that point we didn't realize but got heavy medical bills of $2500 for just one ER visit. They just squeeze money out of you by conducting unncessary tests. ER is a big fraud.

While waiting for discharge papers, a woman who appeared to be an administrator, walked into our hospital room with a scowl, announcing that she had been talking to our nurse and that we had refused to leave or to take our discharge papers and that our treatment at their facility is finished and we need to leave. She also said she would be calling security. My son and I had never been given any discharge papers and were waiting on the finalizing of the plan for our leaving. Sound like this is crazy? Not to mention just awful? We did too.
I was always treated very well here; by the staff and volunteers in these past 10 years or maybe more.
I only bring this up because I went there again this year for the same thing and had another poor experience. I got to the check in counter visibly in pain, I could barely breathe. I asked for something to drink multiple times and never got anything. By the time the receptionist was done asking me questions my episode was over so I just left. Had to buy myself a drink from a vending machine.
Get it back To you trough my volunteering.
Technically it is the most accurate .
I’ve been to the ER a couple of times when I had SVT episodes. The first time was a few years ago and I got the impression they were pretty racist because even though I clearly told them the name of what I had and that I’ve had this heart condition since I was a child, they asked me 3 times if I was sure I wasn’t on drugs/illegal substances. They also had all these students observe my treatment without asking me if it was ok - which it wasn’t. It was all a very dramatic episode.
ER is lousy. I live a mile from this hospital, and if I can avoid their ER, I do. I've had 3 disappointing experiences there. One, a misdiagnosis by a doctor. I was sent home with a severe sore throat and high fever, with a script for an antibiotic and no help for pain. Turned out I had an abscess on my tonsil that was potentially life threatening.
